Maggie Rogers starts her tour for the album “Don’t Forget Me” in San Diego’s iconic Petco Park. From the moment Maggie ascended onto the stage from below like magic, adorned in a flowing dress that complimented the fog and wind from the San Diego outdoor venue. A massive screen behind her with mesmerizing visuals, served as a canvas for her artistry, amplifying the album and vibe of the music.

As she dived into her repertoire, it was evident that every lyric struck a chord within the crowd. The infectious energy of catchy guitar and drum riffs permeated the air, compelling feet to bounce and heads to nod in unison. The funky bass beats added a groove that was impossible to resist.

When the familiar notes of "Love You For A Long Time" filled the stadium, the crowd erupted into a chorus of voices, singing along with the memorable song that echoed through Petco Park. Then came the magical moment during "Light On", when the entire venue was bathed in the soft glow of hundreds of phone flashlights, illuminating the night sky like a constellation.

Maggie closed out the night and turned me from someone who knew few hits into someone who has dived into older and newest album head first. Her performance of specifically “Drunk” has hung with me.
