Jampak joins the Same Same But Different party for 2024
Jampak is so excited to get the opportunity to cover one of Southern California’s emerging festivals! Known for their beautiful location and strong community, Same Same But Different has built a lot of excitement leading into a sixth year of the music festival you must not miss.
One of the photographers here at Jampak went to Same Same But Different previously and got so excited when they discovered we were getting a chance to cover the show. They were able to build such an intimate, almost backyard party feeling while also pulling some amazing artists. In 2023 they featured artists including Louis the Child, Big Wild and Griz, they set a standard that keeps on rolling into 2024 with appearances from Big Gigantic, LSDream and Ganja White Night.
Along with amazing electronic artists and DJ’s, Jampak is also getting to cover some fantastic familiar San Diego local artists. Local sounds such as Drug Hunt, Topeka Clementine, Pocket Change, Peach Cooler, Three Legged Dog and many more! We are very stoked to see some familiar faces jump from San Diego local venues to sharing stages with artists from all over the country.
Outside of the amazing tunes and dancing on one of the many dancefloors around the festival grounds, Same Same But Different set themselves on a relaxing lakeside of Southern California. With stages sitting right on Lake Perris, they have given their crowd an opportunity to sit in the water and cool off while still listening to this great music! Getting too warm in the sun? Same Same But Different has got you covered with many relaxation and educational workshops to cool off, many of which are all ages and built to encourage the community that Same Same But Different is known for.
The folks at Same Same But Different are also offering an all new revamped “But” stage with a Viva-But-Vegas theme. The stage being Las Vegas inspired stage will include Elvis impersonators, classic casino games and a vibrant chapel. Is Vegas too much for you? Same Same But Different offers many ways to relax with new mindful and holistic experiences ranging from yoga and meditation to cold plunges and Qigong Alchemy. Activities have been designed to help you reconnect, restore and recharge for the festival weekend and beyond.
The party never stops at Lake Perris with campsites right outside the front door. Camping with friends is free of charge at Same Same But Different offering a unique experience that is standout from the festival norm. Waking up to a lakeside view right outside of the festival grounds for free really presents one of this festival's core values, “Less Crowds, More Community”.
Everything that Jampak knows of the festival has us excited and there is much more on the way with unannounced and secret experiences as well as the recently announced Nakey Island experiences, this will be an event to remember. Nakey Island will feature sunrise and sunset sets on a secluded beach you can ferry to! We have two photographers covering the festival so you won’t miss any artists you’re looking forward to. One of the unique things about Same Same But Different is two main stages that never overlap sets! Guaranteeing you won’t miss any of the big names we are all so excited for.
Tickets are still available and limited so catch them before they are gone! The festival opens on September 26th, with special tickets that can allow you in a day early, and goes through the 29th. You won’t want to miss this one and Jampak will see you there!
